The city of Perth actually consists of only a few neighborhoods (Central Business District, Perth West, East Perth, etc.). In the Perth metropolitan area live about 1.5 million people. In the CBD, short for Central Business District, are the skyliner of financial institutions and large companies. Outside the city, the various neighborhoods are lined up. If you are in one of these, you hardly feel in a city, but rather in a sleepy village.
The skyline is best viewed from the shores of the Swan River in Kings Park. From there you have the city directly in the background. The park is indicated in the map and Street View below.
